FAQ - Quick Tips
Change landing page upon logging
in
- Log-in
- Click on Option icon (top blue menu)
- Click on Display Option (under Other
Information)
- Select from drop-down menu under
first option which page to land on- i.e.
Mail
Creating folders for organizing Inbox
messages
- Click on Folders icon (top blue
menu)
- Select Create Folder from Choose
Action dropdown menu (under Folder
Navigator)
- Enter folder name (i.e. SPAM) in
the Explorer user prompt
- Click OK
Manage Email Messages
- Click on Inbox (under mail
/left menu)
- Select from menu (under box
name i.e. Inbox) the action you
wish
- "Select"
dropdown: used to mass
select messages based on
certain condition; or you
many manually select
messages may be selected by
checking to the right of
each message
- "Mark as"
dropdown: used mark selected
messages as desired (i.e.
delete)
- "Messages to"
dropdown: used to "move"
or "copy" selected
messages to folder
- Below the dropdown menus
are Quick Action Links
for managing selected
messages
- "Delete":
used to mark selected
messages as deleted
- "Undelete":
used to unmark
selected messages
from being deleted
- "Blacklist":
used to move selected
messages to the
blacklist
- "Whitelist":
used to move selected
messages to the
whitelist
- "Hide Deleted":
used to hide selected
messages marked
as deleted. The message
will remain on
the server
- "Purge Deleted":
used to remove
selected messages
marked as deleted. The
message will removed
from the server

- Check 3rd
option to move
deleted messages to

Creating
Filters/Rules to
manage messages
- Click on Filters/funnel icon (top blue
menu)
- Click on New Rules
- New Rule (blue button) below Existing
Rules
- Type Rule Name i.e. Spam
- Choose either condition and Select a
field i.e. Subject - new dropdown
selection
- Contains
- Blank field to type the trigger i.e.
****SPAM**** if you for spam tagged
email
- OPTIONAL use the and Select a Field
dropdown for more complex rules
- Do this dropdown- select what you
want to happen to the messages i.e. Deliver
to folder - new dropdown to Select taget
folder i.e. SPAM
- OPTIONAL: you may select Mark Message as
- Click Save
- Manual management: Click on
the "Apply Filter" Funnel icon next to
the INBOX name in the mailbox view to
filter all messages according to the
specified rules.
- Automating
management:
- while in Mail (left menu) click
on Option icon (top blue menu)
- Click on Filters under Other
Options
- Check all Filter
Options you wish applied i.e. Apply
filter when logging on, when in
INBOX, etc...
IMPORTANT: Filter rules apply to
messages managed on Webmail. Webmail Filters
doesn't control or manage messages
downloaded to local email client i.e.
Outlook. Rules needed to be set in Outlook
to manages downloaded messages.
